Clogh handball are running a par 3 Classic fund raising competition on Saturday 25th September
A number of Clogh players traveled to Breaffy house on the weekend to participate in the Irish one wall Championship. Ciaran Cooney gave a great performance in the boys u12. Padraig Cooney reached the quarter final of boys u14 but was beaten by Clares Colin Corbett.Brian Mahon also reached the quarter finals but beaten by finalist Paul Mckay (Tyrone). Brendan Hosey gave some great performances and reached the mens C quarterfinals. Ned Mahon played in the Golden masters competition. The girls u16 was based on a round robin basis. Ciara Mahon lost her first match to Lauren O Riordan 24-19, she won her second match 31-10 against Natashia Coughlin Clare. She qualified for the plate final in which she beat Roisin niChongaille 21-10.

The clogh boys team Brian Mahon,Ciaran Cooney,Padraig Cooney,Marc Purcell and Shane Dunne have won the division 2 60*30 competition. The day started with a brillant performance against Lahorna with Brian and Ciaran winning 21-0 . Padraig and Marc gave another excelent performance winning 21-4. The final against Ballina was a tougher match. Ballina went into an early lead 6-0 against Brian and Ciaran , however the Clogh boys recovered and won 21-8. In the second game Padraig and Marc exchanged early aces with Ballina however they soon got on top and won 21-9
Feile Teams make final arrangements for upcoming event in Clare. We have three teams participating in the feile in Clare this year, the boys team will play in the division 2 60*30 competition, The first girls team will play in Shannon in division 3 and the second team will play in Clooney in division 2 best of luck to all teams Photographs William Love and Keith Bourke are All ireland junior Hardball champions photograph The Junior Doubles final lasted 2 hours and 35 minutes before Kilkennys William Love and Keith Bourke secured the honours in this code for the first time in 35 years for the county, winning an absorbing encounter against Meath's Carl Browne and Joe Cummins by 20-21, 21-19, 21-19.

In the all-Kilkenny Men's Intermediate Doubles final, Brian Manogue (Kells) and Pat Maher (Clogh), defeated Timmy and David Clifford (both St. Canice's, Kilkenny City), in a thrilling clash, over three games, on a narrow scoreline of 21-20, 8-21, 21-20. In the all-Kilkenny Boys Juvenile Doubles final, Sean Carey (Goresbridge) and Brian Mahon (Clogh), defeated John Walsh and Killian Dunphy (both Mullinavat), over two games, on a scoreline of 15-14, 15-8.They had trailed 1-14 in first game but made a brave battle to win 15-14

All Ireland u16 doubles Champions Ciara Mahon and Mary Phelan have won the All Ireland u16 doubles championship. They showed their superiority right from the start, taking an early lead and winning the first game 21-1. the Clare opposition of Paula Loughnane and Shauna O Brien put up a better performance in the second game , however Ciara and Mary raised their level again and won 21-7
